Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal Data Engineer specializing in LLM/AI platforms, this full-time remote position will design, build, and deploy advanced data infrastructure to support AI-driven security products, focusing on scalable solutions and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and optimize data platforms and pipelines for LLMs and AI systems at Exabyte scale
• Drive adoption of agentic workflows to create autonomous, data-driven security features
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers in best practices for data modeling and MLOps

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Platform Engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML platforms
• Hands-on experience in LLM engineering and developing agentic workflows
• Proven track record of designing large-scale distributed systems
• Exceptional coding skills with a focus on clean, performant, and well-tested code
