Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

To build a robust analytics infrastructure, the full-time Principal Data Engineer will design and develop internal data systems, pipelines, and BI environments while working remotely to support AOS internal stakeholders and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build the core Growth Analytics data environment using Snowflake
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations across various internal systems
• Develop and manage BI environments in Power BI and Looker, ensuring data quality and governance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles
• Proven experience building data platforms and analytics environments from scratch
• Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake and strong skills in SQL and Python
• Experience with modern data ingestion tools such as Fivetran, Airflow, or dbt
• Experience building BI environments like Power BI or Looker
