Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design, development, and implementation of components within a business intelligence application, the full-time Principal Data Engineer will work remotely to create scalable data solutions, manage data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of major components of the RezIntel platform
• Develop and maintain data ingestion, storage, and processing solutions for structured and unstructured data
• Mentor engineering teams on best practices and ensure data quality through automation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in ETL technologies and concepts, including SSIS and Python/Pandas
• 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and relational databases like SQL Server
• Experience in architecting scalable distributed data processing systems
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with visualization tools such as SSRS, Qlik Sense, and PowerBI
