Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as a senior technical leader, the full-time Principal Data Engineer will architect, develop, and govern enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions while providing hands-on leadership across data engineering initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines and integration frameworks for analytics and operational workloads
• Lead data engineering initiatives, mentoring teams and establishing best practices for coding, CI/CD, and operational support
• Develop cloud-native data solutions using modern platforms and drive modernization initiatives involving hybrid-cloud architectures

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or software engineering
• Expert-level experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, and enterprise ETL/ELT frameworks
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native data engineering tools such as AWS Glue, Snowflake, and Kafka
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise data initiatives and mentoring engineering teams
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields
