Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Principal Data Engineer will deploy data pipelines and infrastructure to support Customer Data Platform initiatives while collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize data ingestion and management.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize data pipelines from diverse sources for analysis and customer engagement programs
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to define data requirements and audience segmentation
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of data elements and support the development of KPIs for Customer Experience

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Five years of experience in data engineering or a related role
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, and experience with data transformation ETL/ELT processes
• Experience in building batch and streaming data pipelines and integrating data across platforms
• Knowledge of data lakes such as AWS, Red Shift, Starburst, or Snowflake
