Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading cross-functional efforts to modernize core data systems, the full-time remote Principal Data Engineer will create sustainable data contracts, enable scalable data pipelines, and implement real-time data processing solutions to enhance cybersecurity initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Re-architect or modernize core data systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Create sustainable data contracts that meet data governance requirements
• Implement scalable and secure data pipelines for cloud and on-prem environments

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering experience
• Cybersecurity experience and architecture expertise in scalable systems
• Proficient in data modeling, including incremental and dimensional models
• Software development skills in languages such as Rust, Go, Python, or Node.js
• Experience with cloud and on-prem technologies in industrial environments
