Job Summary
As a key contributor to data platform initiatives, the full-time remote Principal Data Engineer will own the architecture and delivery of modern data platforms, shape client data strategies, and lead implementation efforts from design through production.
Key responsibilities
- Owning architecture and delivery for modern data platforms end-to-end
- Shaping client data strategy and designing scalable solutions
- Leading implementation efforts from design through production while mentoring internal team members
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software development and 7+ years in data engineering
- Expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark-based processing
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms and their data services
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and distributed data processing
