Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Modeler to design enterprise-wide data modeling standards and optimize data products on Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

Translate domain concepts and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) into conceptual and logical models
Implement and optimize physical data models on Snowflake, including various schema designs
Define data product contracts and ensure models are discoverable and well-governed

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data/Information Management, or a related field
10+ years of data modeling and warehouse design experience
Hands-on experience with Snowflake data modeling and performance optimization
Experience with data contracts and governance practices
Proficiency in SQL and tools for model-as-code practices
