Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Platform Architect to design and govern their enterprise data platform on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end reference architectures leveraging AWS services for data platform development
• Implement data governance and security measures, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide architectural guidance and mentor engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10+ years in data engineering/architecture, with 5+ years architecting on AWS
• Experience with EMR Serverless, Redshift, Lake Formation, and data governance tools
• Hands-on expertise in AWS services including S3, IAM, KMS, Glue, and Lambda
• Proven track record in delivering secure and highly available data platforms
