Principal Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Platform Engineer to serve as the enterprise technical authority for data platforms engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own architecture and technical platform standards for data integration technologies
• Establish and enforce best practices for data platforms configuration management and operational readiness
• Lead engineering design and approvals for complex, large-scale data solutions across multiple domains

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of software or data engineering experience with technical leadership responsibility
• Deep expertise in large-scale production environments and CI/CD pipeline design
• Experience with data technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Kafka
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture
