Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal Data Scientist to work fully remotely, this role focuses on leading the design and delivery of advanced analytics and AI solutions for healthcare and life sciences, utilizing Azure Machine Learning and Databricks to drive measurable business and clinical impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data science solutions for healthcare use cases, including predictive modeling and operational intelligence
• Develop machine learning workflows using Azure ML, encompassing experimentation, model training, and lifecycle management
• Build and guide ML solutions on Databricks, supporting healthcare AI and analytics use cases through scalable data pipelines

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or healthcare analytics, preferably in a consulting role
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, clinical workflows, and operational healthcare analytics
• Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning and Databricks for data engineering and analytics
• Solid foundation in predictive modeling techniques and MLOps practices for operationalizing ML models
• Familiarity with responsible AI principles and healthcare-specific governance expectations
