Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist to help shape the future of underwriting products in healthcare and care management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement predictive models for underwriting and patient care management using machine learning techniques
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform underwriting decisions and enhance patient care strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12+ years of data science experience, or a Master's/Ph.D. and 7+ years of experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python and its core data science ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• At least 2+ years of experience in health underwriting, insurance, or managed care
• Fluency in SQL, relational databases, and cloud computing environments like AWS
