Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist for the Rentals Marketplace Ads team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights supporting the rentals ecosystem
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to define metrics and develop data-driven strategies
• Utilize causal inference techniques and experimental designs to evaluate pilot program launches

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., science, engineering, economics)
• 8+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis and experimentation
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and A/B testing methodologies
• Mastery of SQL, Excel, and Python, with experience in visualization software
• Keen understanding and experience with online products
