Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist to support analytics projects focused on quality management and risk adjustment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data from multiple databases to drive optimization and improvement of quality outcomes, resource utilization, and risk adjustment
• Develop custom data models and algorithms for data sets
• Explore emerging AI technologies to evaluate their applicability in solving healthcare problems and improving operational workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience
• Hands-on experience writing Python code, including machine learning, data science, and ETL pipelines
• 7+ years of experience in data analysis software, with a preference for data science experience
• Track record of applying AI or ML models to solve practical problems, ideally in healthcare
• Knowledge of statistical concepts and traditional machine learning techniques
