Job Summary

To support the Valuation Services division, the full-time Principal Data Scientist will work remotely to analyze automotive industry data, build and deploy machine learning models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative data products.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict vehicle prices and future values
  • Create visual reports and technical presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with technology and product teams to enhance existing processes and drive new analytics initiatives
Required qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience with large datasets and statistical programming software (e.g., Python, Spark)
  • Proficiency in database software (e.g., SQL, RedShift, Hive)
  • Experience with AWS tools (e.g., SageMaker, Glue) and deploying machine learning models into production
  • Strong expertise in advanced feature engineering and AI/ML model building
