Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a multi-disciplinary team, the full-time Principal Data Scientist will design and implement scalable approaches for decision-making, acquire data through SQL/ETL processes, and build stakeholder relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions to automate decision-making processes
• Acquire and analyze data, building necessary SQL/ETL queries and validating models against business-defined KPIs
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align data science insights with broader business goals

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a data scientist with a proven track record in solving complex business problems
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python, along with experience in statistical models and machine learning methods
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and modern machine learning frameworks
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience within a data science team
