Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

Partnering with pricing managers and product teams, the full-time Principal Data Scientist will develop pricing strategies, lead statistical model development, and manage the implementation and maintenance of pricing models while working remotely from any U.S. location.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing strategies to achieve business growth objectives
• Lead the creation of statistical models to predict demand elasticity and price-dependent performance measures
• Collaborate with Finance and Pricing teams to enhance forecasting and profitability models using data-driven insights

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field
• Two years of experience in data analysis or a related position
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis
• Experience developing predictive models and conducting optimization tests using statistical programming
• Familiarity with big data and machine learning algorithms for model development
