Principal Data Scientist
Job Summary
Leading complex data science and engineering projects, the full-time remote Principal Data Scientist will provide strategic thought leadership, develop scalable data pipelines, and deliver actionable insights to influence organizational decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and testing of hypotheses across functional data sets and gather requirements from business and technical staff
- Design and implement integrated data models and scalable data pipeline processes for data ingestion, cleansing, and validation
- Consult with executive leadership to drive business outcomes and document analytic processes with thorough validation and verification
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a related field; or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with strong analytic skills
- Experience with Snowflake and building AI agents
- Strong healthcare experience, particularly with Payment Integrity and FWA business knowledge
- Understanding of FWA concepts, CMS guidelines, and Medical/Reimbursement Policy preferred
