Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a multi-disciplinary team, the remote Principal Data Scientist will design and implement scalable approaches for decision-making, apply various data science techniques to solve complex business problems, and build relationships with stakeholders while acquiring and analyzing data from diverse storage systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable approaches to automate decision-making across the business
• Acquire and analyze data using SQL/ETL queries and various storage systems, ensuring model compliance with business-defined KPIs
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to align data science solutions with broader business goals and communicate findings effectively

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a data scientist with a proven track record in solving complex business problems
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or Master's degree with 4 years of experience in a relevant field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with generative AI technology
• 5+ years of experience with Python and machine learning frameworks
• Proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab)
