Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a talented Principal Data Scientist, this remote-friendly full-time position will lead the development of oncology-based digital pathology AI models, leveraging extensive multi-modal oncology databases to drive innovative diagnostic products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop DPAI models using WSI data to predict clinical outcomes while ensuring biological explainability
• Identify data sources for DPAI model development and oversee team efforts for data annotation
• Analyze complex data/ML problems, break them into actionable tasks, and coordinate with junior team members

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Math, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in a data/applied scientist role, preferably in a disease-related field
• Expertise in Python or equivalent for AI/ML development in computer vision/DPAI
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, particularly survival modeling and hypothesis testing
• Experience in cloud computing environments, preferably AWS
