Principal Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate and create schedules, define product plans, and influence the product backlog for team alignment
• Generate ideation solutions for product challenges and synthesize user needs to enhance designs
• Create interactive prototypes and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful design implementation

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product or service design, or equivalent education and experience
• Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field
• Experience shipping products and delivering results through an end-to-end design process
• Knowledge of data center designs/architectures and industry design trends
• Engineering experience in modern web development (e.g., React, CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
