Principal Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a senior individual contributor, the Principal Designer will build and maintain the division's shared design foundation, partner with Staff Designers to ensure cohesive design systems, and act as a key advisor on complex cross-tribe design challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the division's design system, research engines, and architectural standards
• Develop a multi-year vision for design needs across the division and drive initiatives to meet those needs
• Collaborate with Staff Designers to create a coherent design substrate that integrates efforts from various tribes

Required qualifications

• Proven track record of high-quality design work and the ability to influence across multiple tribes
• Experience in long-term strategic thinking and system development
• Strong understanding of cross-tribe design integration and connective work
• High fluency in AI and its application in design processes
• Ability to work effectively with executives without formal authority
