Principal DesignOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal DesignOps Engineer responsible for leading design systems and workflows in a remote or hybrid setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the DesignOps and UI Systems organization, focusing on design system, component libraries, and documentation
• Build and evolve a unified Design System ensuring consistency across multiple product lines
• Define and manage the design-to-development workflow, integrating tools like Figma and Storybook

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in design, front-end engineering, and user experience for complex software products
• 5+ years in a DesignOps or Design Systems leadership role
• Proven experience in finance, banking, or ERP software design
• Hands-on experience with Applied AI use cases and Generative UI systems
• Technical fluency in front-end frameworks and design optimization
