Principal Developer Advocate

Job Summary

Focused on AI-powered application development, the remote Principal Developer Ecosystem Advocate will engage with developers and customers to foster community initiatives, build technical solutions, and enhance developer experiences using Progress technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with developers and community leaders while participating in technical communities and initiatives
• Partner with customers to explore and implement AI-powered applications and modern development workflows
• Create technical content and represent the company at events to educate and inspire technical and business audiences

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in developer relations, solutions engineering, or technical marketing
• Strong hands-on experience with full-stack applications using modern .NET and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience designing or implementing AI-powered applications and agentic workflows
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize feedback into actionable insights
