Principal DevOps Architect

Job Summary

Driving the architecture and technical roadmap for a cloud platform, the full-time Principal DevOps Architect will manage infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and AI tooling while working remotely to ensure compliance and reliability across clinical trial services.

Key responsibilities

• Own the platform architecture and set engineering standards for infrastructure, deployment, and observability
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code in Terraform and enforce policy-as-code for security and compliance
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications, ensuring safe deployment strategies and rollback management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent technical experience
• 10+ years in SRE/DevOps/platform engineering with a focus on CI/CD, REST API deployment, and containerization
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling
• Experience operating in HIPAA-compliant environments and managing large AWS infrastructure
• Proven technical authority in driving the adoption of new practices across teams
