Principal DevOps Architect

Job Summary

Driving the adoption of infrastructure as code and AI tooling, the full-time remote Principal DevOps Architect will design and manage the cloud platform architecture for multi-tenant clinical-trial services while writing Terraform, building pipelines, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2 Type 2 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the platform architecture and technical roadmap for infrastructure, deployment, observability, and the AI platform
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform and enforce policy-as-code for security and cost management
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications on AWS, ensuring safe deployment strategies and rollback management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent technical education and experience
• 10+ years in SRE/DevOps/platform engineering with a focus on CI/CD, containerization, and application observability
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications on AWS
• Experience running containerized workloads on Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with HIPAA and experience in a compliant environment
