Principal DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal DevOps Platform Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate platform delivery by clarifying approaches and driving high-priority initiatives to completion
- Establish best practices for engineering excellence and promote consistent platform interfaces
- Create reusable platform capabilities and drive automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in cloud-native environments
- 5+ years of experience at Staff or Principal scope, leading cross-team technical initiatives
- 8+ years of experience with microservices-based systems and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Deep hands-on experience in Kubernetes, public cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and production operations
