Principal DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of cloud strategies, the full-time remote Principal DevOps Engineer will define technical vision, ensure operational excellence, and mentor engineering teams while managing the platform's reliability and scalability for over 65 million users.

Key responsibilities:

• Define the long-term technical vision for the cloud platform and advise leadership on architectural strategy and investment priorities
• Set standards for cloud reliability and operational excellence, including SLO/SLI frameworks and incident management practices
• Own the developer experience roadmap, addressing gaps in self-service infrastructure and CI/CD workflows

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 8+ years of cloud platform or infrastructure engineering experience with demonstrated organizational impact
• Expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud reliability practices
• Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) leadership
• Strong executive-level communication skills, capable of translating technical strategies into business-aligned narratives
