Principal DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a sharp, security-minded Principal DevOps Engineer to architect and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, enforce cloud security best practices, and drive CI/CD automation, all while working remotely in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure, implementing security best practices and compliance guardrails
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and policy enforcement
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team while interfacing with executive leadership on platform strategy

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience, with 5+ years in AWS production workloads
• BA/BS in Engineering or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience with AWS Professional-level certifications
• Deep expertise in Terraform and strong experience with GitHub Actions for building pipelines as code
• Demonstrable cloud security experience with tools like GuardDuty and Security Hub
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Go, or Bash, with solid Linux system administration skills
