Principal DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure strategy, scale cloud environments, and drive engineering excellence in a full-time remote role, focusing on architectural vision, CI/CD strategy, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and oversee scalable and secure cloud infrastructure architectures across major platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Define and implement the enterprise-wide CI/CD strategy, ensuring advanced deployment pipelines for microservices
• Champion Infrastructure as Code methodologies to ensure automated and manageable infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering, with at least 3+ years in a Principal or Lead architect role
• Deep expertise with major public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, and/or Azure) and their services
• Mastery of Kubernetes, Docker, and service mesh technologies in large-scale environments
• Expert-level knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Strong programming/scripting skills in languages like Python, Go, Bash, or Java
