Principal Electrical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Electrical Designer - Power & Utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and support the delivery of complete electrical networks/systems for major Energy and Utility projects
• Develop electrical deliverables for all project phases including conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design
• Coordinate with Project Managers and customers concerning project requirements and timelines

Required Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or certificate from an accredited designer/drafter course or equivalent work experience
• 5-10 years of overall design experience in electrical power systems
• Advanced proficiency in relevant software including AutoCAD
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
• Experience in developing electrical power system plan and detail drawings
