Job Summary
Leading the design and development of low-cost, high-efficiency coil driver amplifiers, the full-time Principal Electrical Engineer will focus on current-controlled power electronics systems for distributed motion control architectures, contributing to scalable coil control platforms in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop coil driver amplifiers and optimize systems for efficiency, cost, and reliability
- Develop closed-loop current control systems and implement control algorithms on FPGA platforms
- Collaborate on the development of driver modules within a distributed EtherCAT control network
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in power electronics design
- Strong expertise in MOSFET-based power stages and medium voltage DC systems
- Hands-on experience with current sensing techniques and control loop design
- Experience designing systems for EMI/EMC robustness and reliability analysis
