Principal Elixir Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead and guide product groups with expertise in Elixir.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technical vision and strategy for scalable systems aligned with business objectives
• Write high-quality, maintainable code in Elixir/Phoenix and architect scalable systems
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, particularly with Elixir
• Proven experience in architecting and implementing complex distributed systems
• Strong understanding of functional programming and concurrent system design
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and building data pipelines
• Expert proficiency in Elixir/Phoenix and familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
