Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Energy Market Analyst (Remote - U.S.)

Key Responsibilities

• Support growth in North America by identifying customer use cases and shaping go-to-market strategies
• Act as a subject matter expert to understand customer challenges and propose solutions using Energy Exemplar tools
• Build and oversee the production of energy market models using PLEXOS

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 7+ years of experience in Energy Modeling and Power Market Analysis
• Foundational knowledge of energy markets and associated economics
• Four-year degree in Economics, Electric Engineering (Power Systems preferred), or Mathematics; Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
• Experience with nodal power flow modeling and energy data set analysis
• Knowledge of energy economic modeling tools such as PLEXOS, Aurora, or similar
