Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal, Power Procurement & Origination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for power-to-heat utility tariffs and energy service agreements across US markets
• Mentor and develop deal leads while establishing deal standards and conducting regular deal reviews
• Build and maintain relationships with utility executives and represent the company in industry forums

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in power procurement, energy origination, or utility negotiations
• Proven track record of closing complex energy transactions, including 8+ PPAs or equivalent contracts
• Deep expertise in utility tariff design and wholesale power markets
• Experience negotiating with sophisticated counterparties in multiple ISOs/RTOs
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to mentor commercial teams
