Principal Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Engineer to lead a scrum team in the design and development of software solutions for educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade web and data applications using various technologies in public cloud environments
- Participate in design discussions and provide mentorship to front-end and back-end developers
- Support critical production issues and enhance the performance of flagship products
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience; alternatively, a bachelor's degree with 6 years of related experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in an Agile scrum team
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js and 3+ years with Google Cloud
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, as well as CI/CD processes
- Familiarity with OOP, SOA, microservices, and API development
