Principal Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer responsible for architecting and implementing modem firmware and platform drivers for NCOS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable embedded firmware, stack, and NCOS drivers for multi-modem hardware integration
• Perform modem bring-up with NCOS modem drivers and verify modem functionality for features and performance
• Assist in debugging and support the team during critical modem software integration issues

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent qualifications
• Five (5+) years of experience in embedded Linux firmware device driver and feature development
• Solid programming skills in C/C++ with a strong understanding of OS concepts
• Strong understanding of ARM architecture, RTOS, and multiprocessor communication mechanisms
• Strong firmware debugging and analytical skills
