Principal Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer to oversee the technical vision and productionization of engineer-focused GenAI tooling and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Enable GenAI production-readiness by partnering with product squads to ensure reliability and adherence to standards
• Oversee the end-to-end technical solution, translating customer requirements into architecture and features
• Drive tooling and pipeline decisions through hands-on evaluations and make final calls on integrations and release mechanisms

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with recent hands-on coding
• Experience in a Principal/Lead Engineer role with a focus on production GenAI ownership
• Expertise in Python, with practical knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Node
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and scalable data pipelines
• Demonstrated leadership in improving multi-team architecture and partnering with senior business leaders
