Principal Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and technical direction of large-scale systems, ensuring scalability and alignment with product strategy
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Establish and enforce engineering standards and conduct architecture and code reviews to maintain quality and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3 years at a Staff or Principal Engineer level
• Expertise in system architecture and distributed systems design, particularly in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and experience across the full software development lifecycle
• Experience in establishing engineering standards and mentoring engineers in a fast-paced development environment
