Principal Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer to join their Architecture team.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the platform architecture, including blueprint definition and best practices
• Design and deliver scalable, robust, and cost-efficient services aligned with the platform blueprint
• Act as a senior technical advisor across engineering teams, supporting technical decisions and ensuring standards are followed

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in designing and evolving distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Experience operating at Principal or Staff level, shaping technical direction across multiple teams
• Proficient with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and modern infrastructure practices
• Experience in data architecture, including data platforms and pipelines
• Ability to translate loosely defined problems into actionable technical approaches
