Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the technical vision and architectural strategy, the full-time remote Principal Engineer will lead the design and execution of complex systems across multiple product squads, ensuring scalability, performance, and security of digital pharmacy and patient care platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve the architectural vision for core B2B and consumer platforms, transitioning legacy systems to modern architectures
• Lead the design and implementation of high-volume API integrations and complex pharmacy fulfillment logistics
• Mentor engineering teams and establish engineering standards, including coding guidelines and security principles

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and systems design, with 3+ years at a senior architectural level
• Extensive experience in building and scaling distributed, high-throughput B2B SaaS systems
• Mastery of AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Proven ability to design complex distributed systems and optimize relational database queries
