Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the technical vision and architectural strategy, the full-time remote Principal Engineer will guide the design and execution of complex systems, ensuring scalability and compliance across digital pharmacy and patient care platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve the architectural vision for core B2B and consumer platforms, transitioning legacy systems to modern architectures
• Lead the design and implementation of high-volume API integrations and complex pharmacy fulfillment logistics
• Mentor and elevate the engineering culture through rigorous design reviews and technical leadership

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and systems design, with 3+ years in a senior architectural role
• Extensive experience building and scaling distributed, high-throughput B2B SaaS or transactional systems
• Mastery of AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Proven ability to design complex distributed systems and optimize relational database queries
