Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the integration of AI and modern engineering practices, the full-time remote Principal Engineer will shape the digital customer experience by influencing architecture, guiding teams, and advancing AI-powered solutions across eCommerce and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and advance the AI-powered digital experience strategy, focusing on personalization and intelligent search
• Lead the development of next-generation web and mobile platforms using modern frameworks and composable architectures
• Act as a mentor to senior engineers, enhancing engineering maturity and driving innovation through rapid prototyping of AI solutions

Required qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering AI/ML or GenAI-powered applications in production environments
• Strong understanding of AI architecture patterns, including prompt engineering and context management
• Experience integrating AI into customer-facing digital products, such as personalization engines or recommendation systems
• Familiarity with data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-based AI services for scalable solutions
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and influence cross-functional stakeholders
