Principal Engineer

Job Summary

To drive engineering excellence across multiple platforms and languages, the remote Principal Engineer will act as a technical authority, shaping system architecture and mentoring engineers while leveraging deep expertise in building and scaling complex software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and design distributed, cloud-native applications and platforms
• Lead technical decisions and architecture reviews to ensure engineering excellence
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction to drive successful outcomes

Required qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Python
• Proven expertise in building and scaling complex software systems
• Experience with AI/GenAI technologies and their application to business problems
• Strong system design skills focused on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
