Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Driving technical direction for a significant product domain, the remote Principal Engineer will lead architectural improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence the adoption of AI tools while mentoring engineers in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical direction and ensure alignment with company goals and customer needs
• Lead architectural debt remediation efforts to enhance system reliability and maintainability
• Collaborate with leadership to assess roadmap feasibility and elevate engineering practices across teams

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in .NET/C# and experience in AI/ML feature integration
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools in production workflows
• Familiarity with relational databases and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and methodologies
• Experience adapting processes to support AI-agent contributions to codebases
