Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing engineering team, the remote Principal Engineer will manage the delivery of an enterprise pipeline platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the engineering team in the delivery of CI/CD workflows and services
• Drive accountability for delivery outcomes and establish standardized, reusable pipeline patterns
• Manage backlog and sprint execution using agile delivery models, ensuring compliance and quality gates in the pipelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps roles
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or large-scale technical delivery efforts
• Solid experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly GitHub Actions or equivalent
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
