Principal Engineer

Job Summary

To support the IT Digital Operations team, the full-time Principal Engineer I will manage client services activities, coordinate software development, resolve issues, and develop team capabilities, with the option to work remotely or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate software development and engineering delivery while managing enterprise services and infrastructure
• Consult with senior management to align systems and architectures with organizational goals and escalate issues as needed
• Lead medium to large-scale initiatives, developing strategies to meet business needs and continuously evaluating requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• In-depth knowledge of system installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance
• Proven experience in planning and coordinating large-scale system initiatives
• Experience providing off-hours support through a rotating on-call procedure
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to align systems with organizational objectives
