Principal Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Principal Engineer to drive technical direction and engineering excellence in a remote, client-facing role, where they will own architecture and strategy across backend systems, frontend applications, and cloud infrastructure while championing AI-enabled tooling and mentoring engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Set and own the technical architecture for client engagements, ensuring scalability and performance across backend and frontend systems
- Define best practices for AI-assisted development and guide teams in adopting AI-enabled capabilities across projects
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to client executives, shaping their technology and AI strategy while building long-term relationships
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Full-Stack, Backend, or Software Engineer in senior/lead or architect-level roles
- Proven expertise in building backend services and APIs using languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Deep experience with modern frontend applications using React and/or NextJS
- Strong background in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum and Kanban
- Hands-on experience with AI frameworks and integrating AI capabilities into production software applications
