Principal Engineer
Job Summary
As a full-time Principal Engineer, the successful candidate will architect and build flagship products end-to-end, leading the development of customer-facing solutions while shaping platform capabilities for the engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and personally ship critical product surfaces, ensuring high engineering quality
- Make decisions across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, writing code at every layer as needed
- Shape the platform to enhance CI/CD, Kubernetes, and observability, enabling faster and safer shipping for other engineers
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in React/TypeScript and experience building distributed backends in Go, Python, or TypeScript
- Architectural-level experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS) and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Proven track record in designing scalable, resilient, and observable distributed cloud-native systems
- Experience collaborating with Product and Design teams to create user-friendly interfaces
