Principal Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the technical vision and architectural strategy, the full-time Principal Engineer will lead complex system designs and implementations across multiple product squads in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the architectural vision for core B2B and consumer platforms, transitioning legacy systems into modern architectures
- Lead the design and implementation of high-volume API integrations and complex pharmacy fulfillment logistics
- Mentor engineering staff and establish engineering standards, including coding guidelines and security principles
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and systems design, with 3+ years at a senior architectural level
- Extensive experience building and scaling distributed, high-throughput B2B SaaS systems
- Mastery of AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Proven ability to design and implement complex distributed systems and optimize relational database queries
